MAKE LEARN SHARE EUROPE GETS OFF TO A FLYING START!

The Make Learn Share Europe (MLSE) project had its first formal coming together this week in the Latvian Capital of Riga. A programme of activities over three days saw project partners from Spain, Italy, Sweden and the UK agreeing and working up project details.

Agreement and understanding was reached on the key elements of the project – everyone now has a clear ‘to do’ list for the next steps of the project which will result in young people across Europe increasing and improving their digital making.

During the mobility the group also visited 2 local education settings to witness digital making that is already underway. All agreed that the meeting was really productive and has given the project fresh impetus. Annaleda from Rome said: “we feel that this project really matches and builds upon our work in the Fondazione Mondo Digitale” whilst Miguel from Gijon said: “We really think that this way of getting young people to teach others, will be really successful for all involved.”

All partners will now be developing activity in their local setting and preparing to come together again in October 2016 in Gijon.
